Well it was to good to be true.  My iPhone has been working a treat for nearly 3 months now.  So tonight i was getting organised and thought i would put my phone into silent mode by pushing the switch on the side over.  As i pushed it the button just fell off.   How happy am I!  At least i managed to find the switch and put it into silent mode but now i guess i am going to have to try and get it fixed/replaced.

I wonder what is going to be more efficent.  Going through O2 insurance or Apple warranty. I think i will try Apple warranty!  It could not have happened last night as i was at the Apple store today getting my iPhone case replaced due to it not working properly!  It has been a bad day for the iPhone.  Oh well.  Such is life.

Well as you are aware i now have 2 domains.  TheRolfeFiles.com and FlatWhitePlease.com.  Now i am going to have one blog which will be where all the posts from FWP and all new posts.  I want a vote as to which will be the better url and what the “new” blog is called. Theoretically both URL’s will still point to the one blog.

So give your opinons now!

After nearly 10 hours on 3 trains we arrived in Budapest. We decided to go to the thermal baths for a couple of hours which was fantastic.

The next day we did a bike tour of the city which was quiet good! It was a really hard ride up to the castle but the view was great. After that it was off to the terrorist museum and then a river cruise for dinner. Piece of advice: never do a river cruise in budapest ;)

And now I am at the airport on my way home unfortunately. We managed to fit in the castle labyrinth this morning.

After Krakow it was off to a small town in the Tatra mountains. The weather had turned bad so we did not get to do the hike we wanted too due to the snowy and icy conditions! A bit of a change from the 30 degrees in Vienna! We still did a good hike though and went up the mountain on the cable car. It was actually still snowing there.

After the stop at Auschwitz we continued onto Krakow. Unfortunately the weather was pretty rainy but we managed to get out and about.

We checked out the castle, Jewish quarter, cloth hall, and countless other things. The food in krakow was great though so we managed to eat and drink lots!

On the way from Teplice to Krakow we stopped off at the concentration camp at Auschwitz. It was a truly chilling place. It is hard to comprehend that 1.5 million people were murdered here in gas chambers and other brutal ways! Hearing the stories, and seeing the exhibitions was sometimes very hard to say the least.

It was a very different experience and something that I am glad I saw. Very deprssing place.

Today we spent the day travelling to the small town of Teplice in the Chezch Republic. We started off on a regular size train, then went to a two carriage and finally a one carriage train.

We spent the afternoon doing a bush walk in the national park and then dinner. I had a great day and the country side is absolutely amazing with fantastic rock formations.

For the last few days we have been in Prague. I was here late last year and the weather was appauling with sleet, rain and snow.

This time though the weather has been fantastic. I have made the most of it by doing a walking tour of the Jewish quarter, tour of the castle, astronomical clock and tour, Charles bridge and tower, finicular railway, lenons wall, and countless walks around the city.

Must say that experiencing prague in great weather has really changed my opinions of the city and it is one of my favourite cities now.

After a few days in Vienna we moved onto the small town of Cesky Krumlov which is a small town in the Czech Republic. It was put under Unesco progam back in 1992.

It is an absolutely amazing place and is really beautiful. It consists of about 14,000 people although during the day with day trippers it probably doubles.

On the first day we did a 16km bike ride through the country side and forest which was great. After that we had a guided tour of the city with a local lady.

The next day we did a tour of the castle and brewery. After that we just relaxed and walked around town a bit.

Yesterday we headed an hour out if Vienna by train to Bratislava. Once again it was another hot day which is always nice.

We spent the day by ourselves looking around the old city which us currently being fixed up after many years of neglect. Being a Monday most of the museums and the like were closed so we checked out the castle, many palaces etc.

It was a good day put of Vienna. We finished up with most of the group having dinner together.

After seeing Hostel the movie I was a bit worried about bratislava but it was all good! I enjoyed the trip out there, but there isn’t a great deal to see or do there.
